Southeastern Health and Wellness Institute Admissions Requirements

At Southeastern Health and Wellness Institute, we are deeply committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic rigor, personal integrity, and professional excellence. Our programs are designed not only to educate but also to shape students into well-rounded, ethically driven professionals in the health and wellness industry. Our Instructors work diligently to instill strong moral values, a resilient work ethic, and a deep respect for the profession in every classroom setting.

To ensure our students are prepared to meet these expectations and uphold the integrity of our programs, all applicants must complete the following admissions requirements:

1. Interview
All applicants are required to complete an admissions interview to assess alignment with our mission, values, and program expectations.

2. Required Standardized Testing
All applicants must complete the Southeastern Health and Wellness Institute Professional Readiness Assessment (SPRA) in our on-campus computer lab.

Purpose of SPRA:
To evaluate a candidate’s readiness for our programs through a comprehensive, values-based admissions test that includes:

  • Quantitative Reasoning & Math Proficiency
  • Ethics & Moral Integrity
  • Critical Thinking & Judgment
  • Health & Wellness Foundations
  • Professionalism & Communication Skills

3. Letters of Recommendation
Applicants must submit three (3) letters of recommendation from non-family members, such as:

  • Former Teacher or Professor
  • Current or Former Employer
  • Pastor or Religious Leader
  • Professional Colleague or Mentor

These letters should reflect the applicant’s character, work ethic, and suitability for a career in health and wellness.

Additional Eligibility Criteria

Criminal Background:
Applicants with any open or pending criminal cases are not eligible for admission. All cases must be resolved before enrollment consideration.
Southeastern Health and Wellness Institute reserves the right to review past convictions on a case-by-case basis, especially those involving theft, assault, or crimes of moral turpitude, which may prevent licensure or professional placement in the field.
