- 40-Hour COSMETIC LASER CERTIFICATION Includes hands-on training on all cosmetic laser technologies; inclusive of laser physics education.

- On-Site Learning & Labs: Tuesday & Thursday 8am-4pm; 15 Weeks; 225 Clock Hours
- Digital/Online Learning: Monday & Wednesday 8am-4pm; 15 Weeks; 225 Clock Hours
- Externship: 150 Clock Hours (Simulated patient care and live sticks under instructor supervision)
CMA 101 EXTERNSHIP: 150 Clock Hours Externship Off-Site + Advanced Esthetics Clinical Lab on-site at SEHWI
- Externship with Off-Site Medical Office: Monday and Wednesday
- Cosmetic Laser Certification Course: Tuesday and Thursday

Course Objectives
The CLINICAL MEDICAL ASSISTANT PROGRAM at Southeastern Health & Wellness Institute is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills and expertise necessary for success in the medical assisting profession. The program offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes anatomy and physiology, clinical laboratory procedures, pharmacology, phlebotomy, medical office administration, medical billing and coding, and patient education. Students will also gain hands-on experience through simulated clinical practice in a variety of healthcare settings.
The CLINICAL MEDICAL ASSISTANT PROGRAM is designed to prepare students for certification exams offered by organizations such as the American Association of Medical Assistants, the National Health Career Association, and the American Medical Technologists. Upon successful completion of the certification exam, graduates can take their career to the next level as they gain recognition in the medical community.
Upon completion of the program, students will be prepared to work in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, medical offices, clinics, and other medical facilities. Graduates will have the skills and confidence to take on many roles within the field of medical assisting. They may assist with patient care by taking vital signs or preparing patients for exams. They may also perform administrative duties such as filing medical records or scheduling appointments. Medical assistants also provide patient education by answering questions and providing information on medication and treatment plans. They will also learn about emergency preparedness and response to emergencies in a healthcare environment. In addition to gaining theoretical knowledge, students will also gain hands-on experience through simulated clinical practice. This experience will give them the confidence they need to take on real patient care roles in medical facilities across the country. With the knowledge and skills gained in this program, graduates will be well-equipped to start a successful career in medical assisting.
