FOUNDER
Courtney Sykes is the Founder and Chief Administrative Officer of Southeastern Health & Wellness Institute, a nationally accredited postsecondary education institution based in South Carolina. Her mission is to support adult learners in achieving meaningful, sustainable career transformation within the health and wellness industry while simultaneously addressing workforce demands through strategic, executive-level job placement and employer partnerships.
A Licensed Esthetics Instructor, Sykes specializes in cosmetic chemistry and laser physics, blending advanced science with education to elevate professional standards within the esthetics field. Her academic and instructional focus emphasizes evidence-based practice, technical mastery, and long-term professional growth.
Sykes is also the founder of Courtney Sykes Molecular Anti-Aging, an advanced skincare brand with a growing global footprint. Through this venture, she translates molecular science into high-performance skincare solutions, further reinforcing her commitment to innovation and clinical excellence.
A recognized industry thought leader, Sykes is a contributing writer for Dermascope Magazine and a national trade show speaker, presenting on esthetics science, advanced treatment modalities, education reform, and workforce development. She is the author of SKIN BOSS, an educational resource created to equip esthetics professionals with both technical expertise and strategic career insight.
Beyond her entrepreneurial and educational leadership, Sykes has served on the South Carolina LLR Board of Cosmetology Task Force, is an active board member for Work in Progress in South Carolina, and serves as an Appeals Committee Member for the Council on Occupational Education (COE).
