At Southeastern Health & Wellness Institute (SEWHI), we celebrate academic achievement, leadership, and community service through our Excellence Award. This prestigious scholarship rewards students who demonstrate unparalleled commitment to their education and campus community, providing up to $20,000 in financial support to help them achieve their dreams.

What is the Excellence Award?

The Excellence Award is a scholarship program designed to honor students who go above and beyond in their academic performance and campus involvement. Each quarter—March, June, September, and December—one deserving student is selected to receive this life-changing opportunity.

How Do You Qualify?

To be eligible for the Excellence Award, students must exhibit the following qualities:

• Academic Excellence - A 4.0 GPA showing unwavering dedication to learning.

• Perfect Attendance - Demonstrating consistency and reliability in their studies.

• Active Participation as a SEWHI Ambassador - Becoming a leader in our campus initiatives (more on this below!).

What is a SEWHI Ambassador?

SEWHI Ambassadors are the heartbeat of our campus. These student leaders are friendly faces, mentors, and advocates for a healthy and supportive community. They encourage involvement and host key events while also tackling important initiatives such as:

• Domestic Violence Awareness

• Drug & Alcohol Abuse Prevention

• Healthy Living Programs

Ambassadors also gain hands-on experience in leadership roles by managing peer groups and collaborating with staff on impactful projects—building connections and skills that extend far beyond their time at SEWHI.

This scholarship is more than just financial aid—it’s a springboard for success. Past recipients have graduated with not only academic honors but also the experience and confidence they’ve gained as SEWHI Ambassadors. The financial support of $5,000-$20,000 allows them to focus fully on their dreams without the added stress of tuition fees.
